OUR MOVE

Most, if not all of you probably know by now that we will be moving to OVMS beginning next Sunday. As it is now, our worship will begin at 10:00 with a fellowship hour beginning at 9:00. As you know there will be a transition period and we want to make that as smooth as possible. Here are a few items you need to know:

1. We need your patience. Some adjusting is necessary for all of us. Some will be easy to make while others more difficult.
   
2. We will be removing our equipment from the Sport Complex on Saturday, March 31st. Any help you can give is appreciated. Please be at the Sports Complex at 1pm.
   
3. Until we see how things work, the fellowship time from 9-10:00 will consist of just juice and coffee. We will not be setting up for anything more than that so please eat b-fast before you come. The juice and coffee will be put away at 9:50 to prepare for worship.
   
4. We need your patience.
   
5. The biggest area will be the children. OVMS has been gracious enough to make 2 classrooms available for nursery and CC. Signs will indicate where those classes will be held. But it is also with the children we may need the greatest help. We no longer have the gym for them to play in but please understand that all school property, hallways, lockers, etc are off limits. Gates are used on some hallways to close them off and we will do our best to close off the others with tables. However, playing hide-n-seek around the lockers, beating on them, running the hallways must be the parent’s responsibility to curtail. I have promised that we would respect school property and that we will return the facilities to the way we found them, or even cleaner.

7. We will need your help in setting up chairs. A sign-up sheet is on the back table for your help. We need about 2 or 3 extra people a week. We ask that you be there about 8:30. You may sign up for one week or as many as you like.

9. We will be using only the front door. The Nursery and CC is too close to the back door (security issues) plus we would need more greeters and other logistics to work out so we decided on just using the front door. The back door will be locked from outside entrance but will serve as an emergency exit.

11. The Gathering will be meeting temporarily at Judy McKalip’s and various other homes during the summer. We continue to pray and look for other options. Sign class & prayer meeting will meet at the Lions Club. Jerry & Lova are members and on the board and they have graciously made it available to us. We have scheduled a Pitch In for April 15^th immediately following our morning worship in order to celebrate our move and to answer any questions you may have.
